Winter 2018 Book List

This winter, I’m looking forward to reading more. I’ve come across some (hopefully) great reads, and I can’t wait to try them out. Let me know if you recommend (or don’t)!

Check out my Goodreads, where I review my favorites.

Introverts in the Church, by Adam S. McHugh

(I’m already reading this, and I love it!)

Out of Sorts, by Sarah Bessey

(A reread, one of my favorites.)

The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick

(This is part of some ongoing inspiration/research for my in-progress children’s novel.)

How to Sharpen Pencils, by David Rees

(This looks like one of these books that’s pointlessly–ha–funny, and full of useless   information. And I like both those things.)

Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott

(This book was recommended to me. I like anything about the writing process, so I thought I’d give it a read.)

Where’d You Go, Bernadette, by Maria Semple. (Finished!)

Uninvited, by Lysa Terkeurst

(I feel like this book will make me cry.)
