Curiosities: Porcelain Zoo

We waited

every time the tea ran out

to buy another box

and add to our collection.

It was a disappointment

When we got a duplicate

and had to wait

all over again.

Glossy, colorful and heavy,

sitting atop the window sill.

A rose by any other name

would smell just like tea.
